Apologies for my non-attendance at the AGM. Matters beyond my control precluded me being there, however the election has provided new Committee Members who are very keen to see the club improve. Welcome to these guys and the returning members from previous years.
Thanks to both Dominic and PJB who are retiring from these duties.
I welcome Julie Williams as a financial member; she joins the Committee in the role of Treasurer and will keep an eye on the money side of things.
More about the new Committee and their allocated responsibilities after our first 2012 Committee Meeting on October 25th.
Great news, John Leffler has agreed to take on the role of Driving Standards Observer for Group N in NSW. Committee Members will also assist him.
A huge thankyou to Stewart Follows, who whilst not competing at HSRCA’s Wakefield, travelled to Goulburn and set up the new BBQ in the club shed, and also donated the meat! Fantastic effort Mate!
Dave Wheatley has been busy on the computer and has submitted a Grant Application to seek funding for the fit out of the shed. No mean feat, when dealing with the intricacies of Government Paperwork!
Warren Bossie has been unsuccessful in gaining the required numbers to ensure a Group N grid at Yeehah’s Easter 2012 Bathurst. At cut-off date he had 20 interested parties of the required minimum 30 entries.
Charlie Jardine has cancelled the FoSC's Wakefield meeting due to lack of entrants. The club point score will now be decided once the results of HSRCA’s Wakefield are calculated.
First round of 2012 Point score will be at HSRCA’s 26th & 27th November Eastern Creek Meeting. At the time of writing this meeting will be held on the full circuit.
ARDC’s one day meeting on Saturday the 10th December is confirmed with Group N currently showing 22 entrants.
The club magazine ActionLine is now available in pdf format on the club website in glorious colour. Go to www.appendixj.org.au/news and have a look!
It’s at the top of the page!
The race numbers are now up to date, and appear in the back of this issue. Any unallocated [not shown] numbers will be up for auction at the November General Meeting.
No I will NOT take bribes or bids, come along or ask a member to bid for you and see how you go!
Cheers
David Roberts
